About me

I’m David de Jesús, a Senior Product Designer focused on motion-driven interfaces, interaction design, and scalable UI systems for digital products.

Since 2009, I’ve worked across web, mobile, and large-screen experiences, helping teams design clear, responsive, and intuitive products. My background sits at the intersection of product design, interface design, and motion systems, where motion is treated as a functional layer of the user experience rather than visual decoration.

I specialize in using motion to clarify workflows, explain system state, guide user attention, and improve usability. I design and build interaction logic using tools like Rive, create state machines for dynamic interfaces, and prototype behavior-rich experiences that help teams validate ideas and ship with confidence.

My process combines product thinking, UI design, and animation craft. I focus on timing, transitions, and feedback to ensure motion decisions support both user needs and design system consistency. I work closely with product managers and engineers to deliver production-ready solutions that scale across platforms and devices.

Based in Guadalajara, México, I collaborate with teams and clients worldwide. Alongside client work, I’ve spoken at conferences and led workshops on product design, UI motion, and prototyping, sharing hands-on experience with designers and developers working on real-world products.

I see motion as a design language within product design. When used intentionally, it reduces cognitive load, reinforces usability, and helps digital products communicate with clarity and personality.
